The insert’s design ensures crimping forces are evenly distributed to form a concentric seal. The “C” insert simplifies inventory requirements since one MegaCrimp coupling size can accommodate various hose outside diameters, on both one- and two-wire braid hydraulic hose. Robust “bite-the-wire” crimp. Tested to an industry-leading 1 million impulse cycles. Environmentally-friendly TuffCoat™ plating for 347% better corrosion resistance SAE Standard. Popular thread styles also available with TuffCoat™ Xtreme™ plating for 583% better corrosion resistance than the SAE standard.
